 Magnetic Nanostructure Characterization: Technology & Applications
Concurrent   application   of   AC   and   DC   magnetic fields    manages    to    a)    focus    magnetic    particle hyperthermia      effect      b)      induce      enhanced magnetomechanical       stresses       c)       originate tunable     electric     signals     via     magnetoelectric interactions,          provided          the          magnetic nanoparticles    are    adequately    designed    (with respect   to   size,   shape,   constituent   materials)   to exploit       the       combinatory       field       schemes. Additionally,     magnetic     particle     imaging     and magnetic      drug      delivery      perspectives      are foreseen with proper functionalization schemes.
